Ballad of a Shinigami Book 2

A few days ago I finished the book. I was quite impressed that the book actually got to me, brought out emotions and had me with lingering thoughts. I thought the stories were quite good and had good endings. The ending of this book brought more questions than answers.

The story of Mitsuki, and his emotion of he should not be here. Being the result of a miraculous outcome to a tragedy of his sister. Yutaka, the girl who in her presence of not wanting to swim due to a secret, brought them into that place at time to change his life.

Rikoko, after being rejected by a person she wanted to seduce, but ended up falling in love with that person. A recently deceased boy that she vaguely knew hanging around her trying to make her feel better. A earlier time of passion leads to her dismay and loneliness. A gift from that man has left with making wrong choices, and ending up with a tragedy.

The little princess lost her parents and felt alone in the world. She had a chance encounter with her Art teacher on the street and had here start to help her heal her wounds.

I really felt for the second story, I keep thinking about it. This book is a must read for people that have or once had a sense of loneliness, not being able to cope from loss and not being able the change an outcome.

Off to work!!
