OK, it has been a while, still I would like to post something that I have run into. Is the Local Anime/Manga convention here in Albuquerque, NM, called Southern Comic and Anime Regional Expo, or simply SCAARE Con. This is the first time these people have done it, but this is a homegrown effort, and I am [...] This is the dairy of what I did and mostly thought about it. Friday, 05/28/2010: First day. Woke up, got ready for the day. Setting up my photo gear, checking the Twitter and mail, found out some things. Maridah et al. are leaving towards Fanime by that afternoon. Proceeded to eat breakfast with the Anime club, and I went off [...] It’s that time again, what will our Club be going after the Spring semester. It has been a topic that seems to be on the Club Member’s minds for quite awhile. Fanime 2010 It is going to be at the temperate San Jose, California at the San Jose Convention Center. There are more details for the Club Members [...] The first look of this title seems to be like a real Loli-fest that has no real story. But this is not the case. The main characters are something if not if Karin Maaka was not a daughter to Vampires, this would be like a normal Romantic Comedy. This series demands a separate post, is due [...] Just some little odds and ends to cover. This semester at UNM got a off onto a pretty rocky start, but I will be a lot better off than the last one. That is for sure. I’ll try to spend more time thinking about me major than what I did last year. I’ll start by reading Fabric [...] Same thing here, the second day of Anime Los Angeles of cosplayers. Took photos of the Fullmetal Alchemist cosplayers with Albie and took photos of the cosplay gathering of Laura, both from UNM.
Really the only thing I did at the end of the day was drinking rum in the hotel room with friends and attended the roast of the Dragonball Z Evolution movie. That movie is only tolerable while drunk and with a lot of bad language and dirty humor mixed in. Too bad that movie made Albie and I sober, too bad I can’t show you readers the photos of the club members in a hot tub from the top of the fifth floor. It looks like it’s from the show about cheating.. Off to photos!
These are the series posts I wanted to do at the convention that I could not do due to a lack of internet access. Therefore,this post will cover the first day of the Con and will be large image laden. Very little words are needed since it is the pictures that will convey the message and are a diary of what was there. These pictures are the best I selected to be viewed here and the rest will be found on my Photobucket link on the bottom right of the blog front page. This season is mostly a set of sequels, a new silly series and a continuation of an formally ended series.
Inuyasha: The Final Act For me this has been a long time coming. After seeing of my favorite IY sites closed down or became inactive. I felt I was one of the few to keep the flame alive while off the internet. Heck, I even joined the petition to bring back the IY Anime back! No more! This episode left off where all of us were left after Episode 166-167 in the Fall of 2005. I can’t wait to see Sesshomaru’s Mother and Kagura’s freedom! This is one of the few times I really want to demonstrate physics! I have only space/time position, and can’t be at three same space/time positions in the “real” world. If you know what I mean, sad to be us! I digress, Thursday is the screening of the Eureka 7 Movie at Cottonwood Mall. [...] |
